Hi, I'm Ximena, an illustrator and surface pattern designer based in Auckland, New Zealand.

I create hand-drawn illustrations and surface pattern collections inspired by flowers, gardens, fashion, vintage details, and the little things that make everyday life feel special. I love creating artwork that feels warm, cheerful, and full of personality.

My work spans illustration, fashion illustration, editorial illustration, and surface pattern design. Whether I'm creating artwork for stationery, fabric, wallpaper, home décor, children's products, or publishing, I always hope each piece tells a story and brings a little beauty into everyday life.

I've loved drawing for as long as I can remember, and over the years my sketchbooks have slowly grown into a creative business where I get to combine my love of illustration, storytelling, and pattern design. Every illustration and every motif begins as a hand drawing before being developed digitally in my studio.

Originally from Argentina, raised in the United States, and based in New Zealand for over a decade, I feel incredibly fortunate that my creative journey has been shaped by the different places I've called home.
