Première Silhouettes
Première Silhouettes began at a time when I enjoyed fashion illustration but struggled to connect with it on a deeper level. My background as an artist has always been about bringing feelings, intentions, and emotion into my work, and without that, it felt incomplete. This series was my way of creating with purpose; building characters who meant something to me first. And while they began as a personal exploration, I chose to share them, because they became the foundation for everything I create today.
Midnight Stripes
Midnight Stripes is a collection of fifteen couture gowns; some imagined, others inspired by celebrated designs. Born from a lifelong fascination with black and white and the graphic allure of stripes, it began with a Christian Siriano gown that stayed in my mind. From there, the idea sharpened into a more refined vision and became the foundation of Noir Atelier. Each piece captures the balance of sophistication, structure, and couture artistry.
Obsidian
Obsidian is a study in the sophistication of black; deep as ink, timeless in its simplicity, and unmatched in elegance. This collection of couture gowns draws from both iconic moments in fashion and my own original designs. Inspired in part by the backless Dior gown worn by Marilyn Monroe in her final photoshoot, Obsidian explores the many moods of black: its ability to be dramatic yet restrained, bold yet refined. Each illustration captures the quiet power and enduring allure of the world’s most essential colour.
